The 58th General Conference Session will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, June 30 through July 9, 2005.
The theme of the session will be, "Transformed in Christ."
The session will be held in the America’s Center, which includes the 70,000-seat Edward Jones Dome where the National Football League’s St. Louis Rams play their home games.
St. Louis is home to the famous 630-foot-tall Gateway Arch, built as a monument to U.S. President Thomas Jefferson. The arch is the tallest national monument in America.
There are 2,000 delegates coming to St. Louis from the 13 world church divisions. The delegates will caucus with their divisions to choose the 200 members of the nominating committee.
More than 70,000 people are expected to be in the Dome on Sabbath mornings.
The 1888 General Conference Session in Minneapolis, Minnesota, had 91 delegates with about 450 people in the audience.
The 1954 General Conference Session in San Francisco, California, had 1,109 delegates with about 14,000 people in the audience.
The 2000 General Conference Session in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, had 2,000 delegates with more than 70,000 people in the audience on the Sabbaths.
Impact St. Louis is a youth training event with 400 young people from around the world. They will be actively involved in street evangelism, sharing the love of Jesus.
The Adventist Television Network (ATN) will broadcast a minimum of four hours a day over the HOPE Channel, including a one-hour newscast. The morning devotional and evening world division reports will fill out the broadcast day.

“Jesus Christ How We Adore You” is the new theme song written and composed for this session.
The session’s meetings will be simultaneously translated into 13 languages by more than 230 volunteers. American Sign Language will also be provided.
