By Kim Strobel, August 21, 2026

Adventist Health has been recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in Healthcare for 2026 by Newsweek and the Plant-A Insights Group, highlighting its commitment to fostering a supportive workplace culture amid industry challenges.

The ranking spotlights organizations prioritizing healthcare provider well-being and provides insight into the hospitals and care networks that champion sustainable workloads, strong leadership and psychological safety. The ranking recognizes the best healthcare employers based on success across 10 dimensions of workplace satisfaction. The study combines a national survey, desk research and third-party data to evaluate companies with more than 1,000 employees.

The Gleaner is a gathering place with news and inspiration for Seventh-day Adventist members and friends throughout the northwestern United States. It is an important communication channel for the North Pacific Union Conference — the regional church support headquarters for Adventist ministry throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. The original printed Gleaner was first published in 1906, and has since expanded to a full magazine with a monthly circulation of more than 40,000. Through its extended online and social media presence, the Gleaner also provides valuable content and connections for interested individuals around the world.
