The Ellensburg (Wash.) Church women's ministry team and several Pathfinders are reaching children in their community through the Bags of Love project. This project reaches children whose parents are addicted to meth. Many times these children are removed from their homes and cannot take their belongings with them. The bags help by providing each child with a handmade quilt, a teddy bear, some personal hygiene items like a toothbrush, and a craft or age-appropriate toy. More than 12 bags have already been prepared and delivered, and church members are putting some more together. Recently, the Rotary Club of Ellensburg donated $525 to the project.
