Dustin Jones

Upper Columbia Conference communications director

Dustin Jones serves as the director of communications for Upper Columbia Conference. He has worked in the field of public relations and marketing for more than 20 years. His career has focused on education and health care, with significant emphasis on international outreach. Previously, he was the manager of marketing communications at Kalispell Regional Healthcare in Kalispell, Montana. He has previously led the office of public relations for Loma Linda University Health, a health sciences center that contains six hospitals, eight schools, and more than 31,000 faculty, students, and staff. Mr. Jones also directed the public relations program for Adventist Health International, facilitating the PR activities of 19 hospitals and 45 clinics in 21 countries around the world. His work as an Emmy-nominated producer helped secure more than $1 million dollars in financial support for Hopital Adventiste d’Haiti, a mission hospital in Port-au-Prince, following the earthquake in 2010. Mr. Jones has authored two books, A Century of Caring and Broadening the Vision, and has created two video series on Youtube, Postum with Jesus and In His Footsteps. He holds bachelor’s degrees in public relations and journalism, and a master’s degree in administration and leadership. Mr. Jones and his wife, Heidi, moved from Kalispell, Montana to Spokane in 2020 and have two young boys.
