Albert Thompson relaxes after conducting The Messiah in Tillamook and Lincoln City, Ore. A local tradition for more than 30 years, the performances feature nearly 100 musicians from more than 10 churches. "Adventists make up roughly one-eighth of the choir and half the orchestra," he says, "and I'm glad we can do this. It shows our solidarity with fellow Christians. And myself…I just enjoy it!"
