Pend Oreille Valley Honors Earl and Ginger Brockman Earl and Ginger Brockman (standing in the middle of the back two rows), teachers at Pend Oreille Valley Adventist School, were honored at a retirement party at the Edgemere Church. They have spent all of their 42 years of educational service in the Upper Columbia Conference, the last eight at Pend Oreille Valley. Several former students were there to remind Ginger and Earl of past memories. The Brockmans plan to continue living in the area and enjoy their hobbies of gardening, woodworking, sewing, camping and traveling. Ginger will also keep busy giving private music lessons, and Earl will keep a hand in education as academic director for Odyssey Wilderness Programs in Bellingham, Wash.
