The students of Central Acres Christian School in Billings, Mont., participated in a fundraiser for St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. The fundraiser was a Math-a-thon, where the children asked friends and family to pledge contributions for solving math problems.
St. Jude’s provided grade-appropriate math booklets with 250 problems to all the students who wished to participate.
Five Central Acres students worked diligently, calling friends, solving math problems and collecting their pledges. They earned T-shirts and additional small prizes for their efforts.
Their hard work paid off with contributions totalling nearly $750 to support cancer research at St. Jude's.
