'Bridges Over Walls' Premieres Season Two

In 2023, the Oregon Conference communication team launched Bridges Over Walls, a podcast featuring conversations about the relational breakdowns Christians often cause and how we can address them.

In its first season, Bridges Over Walls featured 10 in-depth conversations with guests on topics such as grief, deconstruction, cultural barriers, generational tensions and more. The podcast quickly grew, reaching thousands of listeners in its first year and earning both the Best Podcast award and the Reger Smith Cutting Edge Award at the 2023 Society of Adventist Communicators Convention.

Despite the many challenges of 2024, the team decided to honor their commitment to their growing community of listeners and have now completed a second season of the show. Season two will continue the conversations with Katelyn Weakley, Mount Tabor Church pastor; Jon Holland, Oregon Conference associate treasurer and pastor; Travis Stovall, Gresham, Oregon, mayor; Sarah Sanderson, author; Krystal Nolasco, podcast guest; Emily Cortez, chaplain; Taylor Stewart; Oregon Remembrance Project director; and Jessie Correa, podcast guest.

If you didn’t get a chance to listen to the first season of Bridges Over Walls you can catch up on it as well. Find both seasons now on your favorite podcast platform or watch the conversations on YouTube at youtube.com/@bridgesoverwallspodcast.
