CASPER — Glen Edwin, 88; born April 23, 1932, Coquille, Oregon; died March 13, 2021, Burleson, Texas. Surviving: spouse, Nena (Fowler); son, Randal; daughter, Debera Hall; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild.

 

Born Glen Edwin Casper in Coquille, Oregon on April 23, 1932 and passed away in Burleson TX on 3/13/2021 at the age of 88. Glen married Nena Fowler in the Adventist church in Fallon, Nevada, on April 1, 1950.

At an early age, his  parents, John Ferd Casper and Mary Edith (Bunch) Casper settled in Coos County, Oregon. Glen's ancestors on his mother's side (Bunch) helped to establish Adventist churches and schools in the Coos County area. After attending Laurelwood Academy, Glen and Nena settled in Coquille where Glen became a denturist. They stayed in Coquille until 2018 and moved to Burleson, Texas.

Glen is survived by his wife of 69 years, Nena (Fowler) Casper of Burleson, Texas; son, Randal Casper, Astoria, Oregon daughter Debera (Hall) of Burleson; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild.
