Davenport Wins Fair Booth Award

December 22, 2021

The Davenport Church's "Showers of Blessings" booth won a blue ribbon at the Hunters Community and 4-H Fair. The event is the oldest one-day fair in Washington State. This year's fair theme was "Sew It, Grow It, Show It."

Barb Tatom and Mark Scheufler, Davenport Church members, welcomed fair goers at the booth featuring the church's community services efforts. Booth visitors were given copies of Steps to Christ, Desire of Ages and America in Prophecy among other tracts and freebies. Bibles, study guides and a concordance were given as prizes to those who completed a community needs survey.

The Davenport Church received several requests for Bible studies, health programs and prayer.
