PSAA and Kirkland Elementary Receive New Activity Bus

Puget Sound Adventist Academy (PSAA) and Kirkland SDA Elementary (KSDA) had a big surprise in May when the long-awaited activity bus arrived two months early.

The new 25-passenger bus is the product of the fund-raising auction in the spring of 2002. Donations to PSAA brought in additional funds, and proceeds from the KSDA magazine sale last fall also helped cover the cost. Dan Luce and Matt Meeks, PSAA/KSDA bus committee members, worked hard to negotiate a price from locally-based Koelsch Coaches that fit the budget.

The bus will be used for outreach days, field trips, tours, winter ski program, class trips, athletic events and more.

Students celebrated the arrival with a dedication ceremony and a prayer by Doug White, PSAA/KSDA principal.
