For the Class of 2018 [ASWWU]

June 21, 2018

Walla Walla University ended their 2017–2018 school year with graduation on June 17.

The class of 2018 included students from 20 states and 18 countries, including Brazil, Canada, China, El Salvador, Estonia, Ethiopia, Germany, Honduras, Japan, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Peru, the Philippines, the Russian Federation, the United Republic of Tanzania, the United States, Vietnam and Zimbabwe. Not only were many cultures represented within this class, but a broad age range was represented as well. The youngest senior was 19, while the oldest was 60.

The Gleaner is a gathering place with news and inspiration for Seventh-day Adventist members and friends throughout the northwestern United States. It is an important communication channel for the North Pacific Union Conference — the regional church support headquarters for Adventist ministry throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. The original printed Gleaner was first published in 1906, and has since expanded to a full magazine with a monthly circulation of more than 40,000. Through its extended online and social media presence, the Gleaner also provides valuable content and connections for interested individuals around the world.
