Beatrice (Bee) Geneva Biggs-Jarrell

BIGGS-JARRELL — Beatrice "Bee" Geneva (Wagner) Biggs, 89; born Oct. 19, 1931, Walla Walla, Washington; died Jan. 15, 2021, Caldwell, Idaho. Surviving: sons, Jay Biggs, Swan Valley, Idaho; Mark Biggs, Nampa, Idaho; Bruce Biggs, Caldwell; daughter, Holly Bee (Biggs) Sesay, Meridian, Idaho; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Bee graduated from CME (now Loma Linda University) in 1951 with an RN degree. She continued her education throughout her life with a BSN, Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate and Master's of Public Administration. She retired as the Idaho State Bureau of Vital Statistics chief. Following retirement, she volunteered with ADRA in Malawi, Africa, in the well baby program.

Bee was active in her church, state government, volunteer work and family. She was married to Cree Biggs for 35 years. After his passing, she married Ken Jarrell, who preceded  her in death in August 2020. They were married for over 30 years.
