Families of students in the Primary Class at South Salem Church were invited to a special potluck after church on Sabbath, May 3, and then had the opportunity to build a birdhouse from cedar wood. Parents and grandparents helped each child nail and screw the pieces together.
The event was organized by Doug and Brenda Stuivenga, Primary Class leaders. Mr. Stuivenga is a technology teacher; he planned the event and pre-cut the pieces.
