PSAA Celebrates Teacher's Life

Students, faculty and staff at Puget Sound Adventist Academy (PSAA) celebrated the life and memory of Tad Loganbill in a special chapel on Friday, October 24. During the chapel service, led by Doug White, principal, everyone had the opportunity to share special memories and anecdotes about Loganbill's time as physical education teacher and athletic director at PSAA.

Loganbill suffered a stroke and passed away Oct. 13. Although he was at PSAA for only three years, he had a lasting effect on his students and colleagues. Loganbill was instrumental in starting the PSAA athletic program and coached boys' football and basketball and girls' volleyball. His quick wit and humor were always present in the classroom and at athletic events. Loganbill and his wife, Jenny, will always be a part of PSAA.

The school has announced the renaming of its Shark Award as the Tad Loganbill Memorial Shark Award. This award is given to the student who best represents athletic ability, academic achievement, good citizenship and Christian witness.
