Idaho Conference Camp Meeting 2026 took place from Tuesday, June 9, to Sabbath, June 13, at the Gem State Adventist Academy campus in Caldwell, Idaho. The theme, “Our Mission. My Commitment.” reflected the shared calling to grow in faith, mission, service and devotion to Jesus. More than 700 attendees of all ages enjoyed a memorable experience filled with spiritual growth, learning and fellowship.
Camp meeting kicked off on Tuesday evening with an inspiring and powerful presentation by Michael Campbell, North American Division Office of Archives, Statistics and Research director. His message highlighted the importance of knowing our history so we can stay grounded to continue the mission God gave us. Campbell was the evening speaker for the English language camp meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
On Thursday, Friday and Sabbath, Randy Maxwell, Washington Conference vice president for administration, shared uplifting and hope-filled messages that challenged attendees to live with renewed faith and purpose. The speaker for the Spanish-language camp meeting was Juan Pablo Cárdenas, former Upper Magdalena Conference executive secretary in Colombia. His wife, Andrea Marmolejo, also presented about the importance of healthy family relationships.
Other speakers and presenters shared valuable messages throughout the week. The mornings were filled with engaging and thought-provoking seminars by several speakers, including Denis Kaiser, Andrews University associate professor of church history; Neil Nedley, Weimar University president; Elder Rudy Salazar, NAD stewardship ministries associate director; and Stan Hudson, North Pacific Union creation ministries director.
Camp meeting was not just limited to adults; it catered to children and youth as well. The children’s programs offered engaging activities and interactive lessons that centered on biblical teachings. There were classes for all age ranges, from beginners to youth, and even a special tent for young adults. The speaker for the young adults was In Pyo Hong, Ontario Conference youth and young adults associate director.
The week also featured a Sanctuary exhibit, where attendees had the opportunity to tour a replica of the earthly sanctuary. The exhibit was built and assembled by Parma Adventist Church members and provided a meaningful visual representation of the biblical sanctuary. Many attendees enjoyed the experience and gained a deeper understanding of the sanctuary's symbolism and its significance in God's plan of salvation.
David Prest Jr., Idaho Conference president, concluded the final Sabbath meeting with a powerful message, challenging attendees to move forward with the mission God has entrusted to His people. This year's camp meeting was a truly transformative experience, providing opportunities for spiritual growth, meaningful fellowship and renewed commitment to God's work. Those in attendance left inspired, challenged and equipped to continue fulfilling the mission He has called us to.
