Kalispell Donates Masks, Gloves

By Gabriele Laub, July 05, 2020

On May 27, 2020, on behalf of the Kalispell Church disaster response action, I was able to deliver 1,000 masks and 400 gloves to the Kingman Regional Medical Center Foundation. These will help shore up supplies at our local hospital should things get tough in the fall and shortages recur.

The donation was graciously received by Tagan Vine, KRMC Foundation president. It was a pleasure to tell him about our organization and our involvement with Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD). He also knew some of the hospital employees are members of our Kalispell Church.

I was grateful for the opportunity to have a small part in advocating for our church and mission.

The Gleaner is a gathering place with news and inspiration for Seventh-day Adventist members and friends throughout the northwestern United States. It is an important communication channel for the North Pacific Union Conference — the regional church support headquarters for Adventist ministry throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. The original printed Gleaner was first published in 1906, and has since expanded to a full magazine with a monthly circulation of more than 40,000. Through its extended online and social media presence, the Gleaner also provides valuable content and connections for interested individuals around the world.
