Roundup Church Hosts VBS for Community

By Reba Cook, October 14, 2026

Roundup Adventist Church in Montana hosted a very successful Vacation Bible School July 27–31, 2026 with the theme, "Flight 3:16 — Destination Heaven." A total of 23 children attended, with 14 of them coming from non-Adventist homes.

In preparation for the summer event, Roundup Church members attended the annual Roundup Independence Day Parade to hand out VBS invitations, along with gift bags for kids and Lessons From History for adults.

Throughout the VBS week, children learned about different cultures from countries around the world, such as New Zealand, Brazil, England, China and Botswana. They also learned about some very interesting animals and birds, including kiwis, toucans, hedgehogs, pandas and elephants.

The children made neat crafts, had yummy snacks, played fun games and learned meaningful lessons from the Bible about salvation, personal devotion, heaven and God's law.

On Sabbath, Aug. 1, 2026, Roundup Church held their final VBS program during the church service, inviting the parents to come with their children and stay for a provided lunch. The little church was bursting at the seams.
