Cedar Creek Shares Women's Seminar

By Marty Jackson, May 08, 2019

The Cedar Creek Church in Woodland, Wash., recently conducted the DVD seminar series Pursued, by Lola Moore Johnston.

Through the lens of Mary Magdalene, Johnston introduces Jesus as the One who pursues you as a suitor pursues his beloved. You walk with Mary as she is transformed from an outcast of polite society to Jesus' most ardent supporter and adoring friend.

The group facilitators were Connie Jackson, Cedar Creek Church pastor's wife, and Eve Youngberg, Cedar Creek Church member.

Eighteen ladies attended this series, including some guests. The seminar series was held on four Sabbath evenings in April 2019. Along with the DVD presentation each evening, there was time for discussion, sharing and refreshments. The ladies would like to try another seminar as well in the future.
