A New Church Grows in Maple Valley

By Heidi Baumgartner, July 15, 2014

Nemaia Faletogo felt God calling him to present a Bible prophecy seminar for his church in Burien last fall. God kept prompting him to do something more, in addition to his full-time job, and he began planting a church in Maple Valley with a core group of five families.

Maple Valley Church began on March 1. By March 14, members began their first Bible prophecy series. From a handful of people who initially attended this church, this growing congregation now has 35–40 people regularly attending church services.

The church celebrated their first three baptisms at Washington Adventist Camp Meeting in June. Maple Valley leaders have a full summer of outreach activities planned and look forward to partnering with God.
