The Kalispell (Mont.) Church represented Jesus and the North Pacific Union Conference this year at the 2011 Northwest Montana Fair by hosting a booth that promoted health, education, Christianity and the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The fair ran from August 17–21, and the booth was open all available days, with church volunteers from youths to seniors covering three shifts each day. Church members answered numerous questions from fair attendees and hosts of other booths about Jesus, the Adventist Church and end-time events.
Current events happening in the world spurred a lot of questions and interest for the church and what it had to say. As a result, about 30 people signed up for Bible studies. Fifty end-time prophecy DVDs were given out, along with program guides for 3ABN and KANB-FM radio and children's activity books.
In spreading the health gospel, the NEWSTART (Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunlight, Temperance, Air, Rest and Trust in God) lifestyle program was promoted. A drawing provided a little excitement, and winners could choose literature on Christianity, Jesus and end-time events.
Other booth patrons expressed gratitude toward the Kalispell Church for their presence at the fair this year. The church has hosted a fair booth for 13 years, expanding from the original 8-by-8 booth to today's 8-by-22 size. The Lord has been a blessing to those working the fair booth, and church members pray that the Word of God will continue to bless those lives He has touched through this ministry.
