The Cottage Grove Adventist Church's Community Services Center has been awarded a $1,000 check by the Oregon Conference Humanitarian Fund Grant Program. Rhonda Whitney, Oregon Conference Community Outreach director, presented the check to Angela Dillon and Jane Ellingson, Community Services officers at the Sabbath service on Saturday, Feb. 6. The presentation was followed by the second in a series by guest speaker E.H. "Jack" Sequeira on the book of Galatians. A fellowship meal in the upstairs hall preceded the two remaining meetings at 1:30 p.m. and again at 4 p.m. covering the last four chapters. Members thank God for blessing them in this special way.
