Puget Sound Academy Students Volunteer at Vegfest 2005

Sixty students from Puget Sound Adventist Academy volunteered at this year’s Vegfest held in Seattle, Wash. The students left PSAA’s campus at 9 o'clock on a Sunday morning and headed downtown to donate four hours of their time. Students handed out some of the 120,000 vegetarian food samples for various vendors, collected entrance fees and restocked supplies. All students were able to taste the soy products and vegan treats, which ranged from soy ice cream to vegetarian meat products.

Vegfest Seattle allowed students to volunteer for a cause and see the many benefits of a vegetarian diet.
