The Shelton Church invited members of the fire, sheriff, and police departments to participate in worship on Sabbath, Sept. 11, 2004, and to publicly accept thanks for the wonderful work they do for us. These public servants were visibly moved by the service and touched to be remembered. In addition, they were honored with a potluck dinner.
Mike Cauley, our new pastor, and Paul Volk were instrumental in orchestrating this special service. This is only part of our effort to let our community know we love and care for them.
