Little Lambs, a group that originated in the Florida Conference, has found its way to Washington State. Our little group, designed specifically for four-year-olds, gives our young kids the opportunity to enjoy real Adventurer Club membership as they graduate to become Eager Beavers.
Our group of Little Lambs has met every Tuesday evening since September. During the month of October, the Little Lambs put together an emergency food basket for children who arrive at our local CPS office with nothing to eat. In January we learned about the care and keeping of pets. Each child received his or her very own goldfish in a bowl. Finally, in February, we were privileged enough to have a local fire fighter bring out a truck for the children to tour. In between these times we have had a lot of fun putting together crafts, reading stories, playing games and even painting!
At Investiture, we will be graduating our four Little Lambs into Eager Beavers but hope to start out our upcoming year next September with even more children than this year.
