speaking at the seventh annual Youth Transition Dedication Sabbath, April 5, Lents (Portland, Ore.) Church youth Michelle Wilson said, "Servanthood is living for Jesus, conforming to His will from the heart."
Fellow youth Aaron Linfoot added, "The Lord looks on the heart. Look on the hearts of our youth."
In a candlelight ceremony, Ashley Wilkening introduced each of the dedicated young adults, and youth leader Jean Aguilar shared their personal attributes. Gary Bullard, pastor, presented commemorative certificates to each one. He reminded the congregation of the importance of mentoring and supporting our youth to help them know Jesus. A prayer of affirmation closed the transition ceremony.
