Each year, Columbia Adventist Academy (CAA) faculty select a senior male and female as students of the year, chosen because they exemplify the Academy’s mission.
Seniors Brandon Moor and Chelsea Bliss received the award, this spring.
Moor was selected for many accomplishments, among them graduating with a 4.0-plus grade point average and involvement in the music program since elementary school, participating in athletics, holding a variety of class offices, being a member of National Honor Society, giving strong leadership to on-campus praise music, and being involved in mission trips and community service.
Bliss has been president of National Honor Society this year, has held a number of other offices, has been highly involved in choral music for a number of years, and often leads out in praise music on campus.
She has played basketball, gone on four mission trips, and served in a number of community service activities. •
