God is looking forward to having dinner with you and all your friends! Let’s make cards to hand out at church, in your neighborhood or to friends at school.
You’ll Need:
- Paper of any color and any kind
- Colored pencils/markers/crayons
- Stickers (optional)
- Glitter and glue (optional)
Fold Your Cards
Decide how many people you want to invite to God’s dinner party. To make your cards,
- Fold a sheet of printer, construction or graph paper in half. Then fold it in half again.
OR
- Cut a sheet of cardstock (heavy paper) in half widthwise. Then fold each half into a card.
Write a Message
Think of people you want to tell about God’s big dinner party. Write a message on the front and inside each card for your friends, neighbors, teachers, family members or church members. Here are a few ideas:
Front: God is getting a feast ready for you! Inside: Jesus can't wait to welcome you home.
Front: You're invited! Inside: Jesus loves you and wants you at His big feast. There’s plenty of room at His table.
Front: The best celebration … Inside: … is still to come! Jesus is getting a feast and a home ready for everyone who loves Him.
Front: See you at God’s big feast! Inside: He has planned a wonderful meal and wants you at His table. Let’s plan to be there!
Front: God loves you! Inside: (And a good dinner party!) One day soon we'll sing, laugh and celebrate with Jesus at the best dinner party ever!
Front: God invites YOU … Inside: to His dinner party. He is getting everything ready. See you there soon!
Decorate Your Cards
Draw pictures of God’s big feast or the happy celebrations in the Bible. Use splashes of color. Add stickers. Have fun making a pretty card!
Deliver Your Cards
Share your cards with others. They may smile because your card reminds them that God loves them and wants them with Him forever.
