WWU Student Life and Ministry Center Construction Advances

By Caeden Rogers, August 20, 2026

Construction on Walla Walla University’s Student Life and Ministry Center continues to move forward, transforming Kellogg Hall into a 22,000-square-foot hub for gathering, ministry, dining and student life.

Demolition and hazardous materials abatement are about 85% complete, underground utilities are in and crews are preparing concrete work for the new addition. Structural framing for the addition is expected to begin in early fall.

This summer’s major focus is the kitchen, and construction is expected to have minimal impact on students during the school year.
