Klamath Falls Church Hosts Health Weekend

By Brenda Rea, July 30, 2026

Klamath Falls Adventist Church hosted Spring Into Health in June 2026, a multi-day wellness event designed to combine practical health education with faith-based principles.

Chelsea and David Radoja, from Eden Valley Institute of Wellness, delivered a series of engaging sessions highlighting the relationship between biblical health principles and physical and spiritual well-being.

The event started Friday evening, June 5, 2026, with a session titled “Restoring Power – The True Remedies.” This presentation emphasized that health is restored through God’s true remedies: nutrition, exercise, water, sunlight, temperance, fresh air, rest and trust in God. It encouraged personal responsibility, healthy lifestyle choices and faith-based healing, teaching that physical, mental and spiritual well-being are interconnected and supported by God’s natural laws. It set the stage for the remainder of the event by framing health as both a spiritual and physical pursuit.

On Sabbath, June 6, 2026, the program continued with a morning session, “The Blessings in Suffering,” which presented how physical suffering can deepen faith; cultivate patience, humility and compassion; strengthen dependence on God; and create opportunities for prayer, reflection and service. It emphasized that salvation is by grace, God works all things for good and believers can trust His purpose and hope in Christ through every trial. A whole-food, plant-based lunch followed, fostering fellowship and providing an opportunity for attendees to build relationships while experiencing a nutritious and tasty meal together.

Participants engaged in the afternoon session, “Hands-On Natural Remedies Workshop,” which shifted the focus from theory to practical application. This interactive session allowed attendees to learn and practice natural health strategies, equipping them with tools to address common health concerns using accessible, low-cost approaches as adjuncts to traditional medical care. The emphasis on hands-on learning reinforced skill development and encouraged participants to apply these methods in their own homes.

The program concluded on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, with a final session, “Hydrotherapy Workshop.” This session introduced participants to the therapeutic use of water. By demonstrating techniques and explaining their benefits, the workshop provided practical knowledge that can be integrated into self-care routines or shared with others.

Overall, Spring Into Health offered a comprehensive approach to wellness that combines spiritual insight, educational content and experiential learning. By discussing biblical principles and natural health practices and how to blend them with traditional medical care, the program aimed to empower individuals to take an active role in improving their health.
