Between Oct. 15 and Nov. 20, 2010, Gabriel Constantinescu, a graduate of Mission College of Evangelism, was invited to conduct evangelistic meetings at the Falls City (Ore.) Church. "It was a golden opportunity and a privilege," says Constantinescu, "to present the plan of salvation and Bible prophecies in the context of God's love."
An inspiring backdrop painting of the second coming along with symbols from the book of Daniel and Revelation alongside the nightly PowerPoint presentations created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere during the meetings. Four nights a week, the Spirit-filled sermons were lovingly and dynamically presented in hopes of reaching the hearts of its listeners. Special musical selections and calls to accept God's truth highlighted the seminar. A beautiful family Bible was given out in a drawing each evening. Gabriel, and his wife Elena, baked and distributed their homemade bread to all attendees on two occasions. In addition, each attendee who brought a friend was offered a jar of honey.
Doug Clayville, pastor, and the church members are praising God for the seven precious souls who accepted Jesus as their personal Savior and were baptized at the end of the meetings. Several more are continuing to study with the church's Bible worker, Pat Biro.
Like Constantinescu says, "it is difficult to ignore the signs of Jesus' return. We hope many scores of people will be willing to say, ‘Here am I. Send me!'" (Isaiah 6:8 NAS).
