Imagine giants still roaming the earth. Believe it or not they do, and one was spotted recently in Othello, Wash. The David and Goliath reenactment took place on the lawn of the local Seventh-Day Adventist church. The event was then followed by songs, crafts, and games as part of Family Fest—a community outreach program conducted by the Othello Adventist Church. The event was coordinated in a fresh outdoor multiple tent environment on a vacant lot behind the church. The public was invited to attend a myriad of activities which included blood pressure checks, fruit smoothies and other culinary treats, a David and Goliath skit, sing-a-longs, crafts and games for entire families to play together.
Although some people came and went during the event, nearly 70 percent were friends and relatives of the church who were not Seventh-day Adventist.
