Sandpoint Junior Academy teacher, Kristie Creitz, applied to the Idaho Community Foundation for a grant to expand the school's music department. The award they received was for $4,000 from the Gladys E. Langroise Advised Fund in the Idaho Community Foundation.
With the money, the school will purchase band instruments and music.
"Creitz is an excellent music teacher, and we are really excited to have this grant to expand the music department," says Charla Suppé, principal.
