Churches on Parade Share a Message of Religious Freedom

Churches on Parade Share a Message of Religious Freedom Port Angeles and Sequim, Wash., Seventh-day Adventists spread a message of religious freedom and joy in Christ during a hometown Independence Day "The Center of It All" parade. Sequim Pathfinders carried flags and a bright banner with the words, “Celebrating our Precious Freedoms of Press, Speech, Worship and Peaceable Assembly" and encouraging all to "Make Christ the Center of Your All." In addition, nine adults and children handed out gold Scripture “coins” and inspirational ceramic lapel pins for kids. Adults received a copy of the “Written in the Heart” religious liberty brochure and a colorful bookmark based on the banner and listing contact resources for learning “eternal answers” from God’s Word for our “endless questions.” The “love” message behind the sign gave a festive postscript demonstrating the hope and prayer that God’s love will become a reality in many hearts.
