Authentic music, activities, and snacks immersed participants in whole-learning experiences during the Oregon Conference Vacation Bible School retreat, Feb. 19–20, at Gladstone Park Conference Center. Sixty people, representing 25 churches, came to discover two new VBS themes: Jerusalem Marketplace and Serengeti Trek.
Participants enjoyed special guests Julie Lyles from the Review and Herald Publishing Association and Jim Weber, puppeteer, who discussed and demonstrated the new programs. Al Reimche, Oregon Conference vice president, and Don Schneider, North American Division president, presented the devotionals.
