Easter Drama Creates Unforgettable Impression The Coeur d’Alene (Idaho) Church performed the drama Face to Face with the Passion of Christ in celebration of Easter in April. Set against the Garden of Gethsemane, the story began with a voice explaining Isaiah's prophesy of the birth of a King. As Christ's childhood and wilderness temptations unfolded, the audience was brought right into the life of Christ. They watched as Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount and explained how we should live, how we should treat others and how hard it is to get to the kingdom of heaven. Then a voice from afar explained that He was crucified. As an angel approached the tomb, the powerful song "Rise Again" was sung. Smoke emerged from the tomb as the angel rolled away the stone and Jesus stepped into the sunlight. The audience was struck silent by the powerful drama as they realized what Christ has done for us because He loves us so.
