Young Blood

Cassandra Lemke participated in the first blood drive at Rivergate Adventist Elementary School, Gladstone, Ore. on Feb. 28. Cassie, who turned 17 just a few days before, was so excited that she was finally old enough to give blood. A 2000 graduate of Rivergate, Cassie is now a junior at PAA. “I would do it again,” Cassie says. •
