GIMBEL — Judith Anne (Carl), 84; born Sept. 18, 1936, Seattle, Washington; died Aug. 21, 2021, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Surviving: spouse, Howard; daughters, Karen Gimbel Weingarth, Gay Janette Remboldt; sons, Roger Gimbel, Glenn Gimbel, Keith Gimbel; brothers, David Carl, Michael Carl; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Judy attended Gladstone Camp Meeting every year of her life, and it was a ritual family gathering for her family and friends in the PNW.  2019 was the last time she attended and I [her daughter, Karen] was with her (helping her navigate with cognitive and mobility issues) as we walked off the campgrounds for the last time, arm in arm. She was weeping for joy and said "I feel SO LOVED"!  I believe that is how she felt every year, and she just voiced it unreservedly with some awareness that it would be the last time.

she was predeceased by her sister Janet (Carl) Koehler, and her brother-in-law, Art Koehler.
