SCROGGS — Lorraine (Parker) Ortmann, 70; born Feb. 23, 1948, Seattle, Wash., to Ellen Sundberg and George Parker; died Nov. 12, 2018, Portland, Tenn. Surviving: husband, Donald; daughter, Kelli (Ortmann) Pellegrini, San Mateo, Calif., daughter and son-in-law, Missy (Ortmann) and Eric Barsam, Flower Mound, Texas; stepdaughters, LaVonne Scroggs, Livermore, Calif.; LeAnne Scroggs, Newbury Park, Calif.; sister, Patricia Parker, Portland; a granddaughter, Ashley Barsam, Flower Mound; and 7 cousins.

Lorraine grew up in Seattle, Ferndale and College Place, Wash., and met her future husband while attending Walla Walla University. Upon marriage to Dale Ortmann, they moved to southern California and raised their two daughters. Lorraine worked as an administrative assistant for It Is Written for 28 years.

In 2000, she married Donald Scroggs and in 2007 moved to Tennesse where Lorraine was office manager for the King's Heralds for 10 years.

Lorraine's tremendous ability to see the good in others, her never ending kindness and graceful spirit is greatly missed by all who knew her. Lorraine loved Jesus and worked tirelessly for Him and she awaits the call of our Life Giving Savior.
