Marjorie Eleanor Mathews

MATHEWS — Marjorie Eleanor (Wilson), 87; born March 1, 1927, Nuzvid, India; died Feb. 27, 2015, Grants Pass, Ore. Surviving: son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Sandy, Grants Pass; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Gerry Douglas, Medford, Ore.; daughter, Marilyn Mathews, Grants Pass; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and David Weitzel, Vancouver, Wash.; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Marjorie was a registered nurse retiring in 1991. She played the organ for the Grants Pass Church. She served her community as a nurse, loved her church family, and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She liked to paint and crochet as well as grow a flower garden. Working in her flowers provided her an opportunity to visit with those that passed by. Being born to missionary parents was a treasure to her.
