Sylvia A Zitek

ZITEK — Sylvia A. (Purviance), 75; born Apr. 27, 1947, Billings, Montana; died Jan. 15, 2022, Portland, Oregon. Surviving: sons, Dwight and Kyle (Nicole Shorter); brother, Alvin Purviance; and numerous other family members.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband Frank Zitek.  They were long term members of the Glendover Church.

She graduated from Columbia Academy and worked at one time at Adventist Medical Center. She is the author of the book Mary's Story and also Except as We Forget. She was active in her local Dorcas groups in Portland and in Eastern Idaho and is dearly missed by many family and friends.
