June Meribeth McFarlane

MCFARLANE — June "Meribeth" (Wagner), 88; born May 26, 1931, College Place, Washington; died July 24, 2019, Oregon City, Oregon. Surviving: husband, William "Bill" McFarlane, Gladstone, Oregon; daughters, Pam Laue, Estacada, Oregon; Donna Stephan, Oregon City; 3 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Had a lifelong ambition to be a missionary to China. Served in Hong Kong from 1969–1972 and functioned as the mission hostess taking people on sightseeing/shopping trips. Moved to Guam in 1972 and lived there for eight years, with interruption of some years living in the states. Also lived in Monument Valley. Meribeth had a dream of writing a book, and wrote multiple journals and letters throughout her life. Family is typing her writings to put into chronological order to complete her dream!
