Helen Katsumi Ishikawa

ISHIKAWA — Helen Katsumi (Eji), 95; born Nov. 11, 1923, Honolulu, Hawaii; died May 18, 2019, Bellevue, Wash. Surviving: son, Tad Ishikawa; daughter, Laural (Ishikawa) Walton; a granddaughter, Charlotte Ishikawa; and many nieces and nephews.

Helen's parents were Kumaichi Eji (Mother), and Hizumi Okazaki Eji (Father). She attended Pacific Union College where she earned a BA degree, and Columbia University in New York City earning her MA degree. Helen taught in christian education for about 42 years, the last one being Olympia Junior Academy.
