HILTON — N. Jane, 92; born Nov. 14, 1928, Seattle, Washington area; died Jan. 25, 2021, Milton-Freewater, Oregon. Surviving: daughters, Pam Stubbe, Malaga, Washington; Jana Perrin, Milton-Freewater; Diana Martinez, Chelan Falls, Washington; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Jane Hilton, longtime resident of Chelan, Washington, died Jan. 25, 2021 in Milton-Freewater, Oregon. She was 92.

Jane, and her husband. Carl, moved from Seattle to Chelan in 1967. They bought property up Purtteman Gulch Road where they lived together until Carl’s death in 1988. Jane continued developing the property — she finished building a beautiful log home and ran a small orchard she developed there. She and Carl were active members of the Chelan Church, which they helped build.

Jane was the mother of four girls: Karla Hilton, who died in 1954; Pam Stubbe of Malaga, Washington; Jana Perrin of Milton-Freewater, Oregon; and Diana Martinez of Chelan Falls, Washington. She had 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
