Washington Conference Plans Women’s Spring Day Event

"It was a bright and sunny morning . . . the day on which I fully expected to die.” Those are the words of Esmie Branner who, while married to a Muslim husband, clung desperately to her Christian faith despite the abuse that she faced on a regular basis.

Branner will be one of the featured speakers at the Washington Conference's annual spring day event for women that will be held in Auburn, Wash., on April 17. This event begins at 10:00 a.m. and will go until 4 p.m. The cost of the program is $25.00 if you register before April 1, $30.00 if you register later.

The theme of the program is "God’s Gift." The speakers will address how to open the gifts that God has given to each person. It will be a great day of fellowship and spiritual renewal.

Mary Richards King is also a featured speaker of the day. The daughter of H.M.S. Richards Jr., she counts it a privilege to have grown up in the home of the speaker of the Voice of Prophecy radio program. Her family laid a great foundation for her own spiritual growth.

Plan now to attend. To register, call Wilma Bing at (206) 963-7011.
