Pancakes, fruit, and juice anyone? Students in the Rogue Valley Adventist School's HOPE (Helping Others Praise Eternally) Bible class heard fellow students at school were lucky if they were getting meals during the week and decided to make a difference. They have been providing pancake breakfasts on Wednesday mornings at 7:00 for students and families wishing to attend. Members of HOPE arrive early in the school's cafeteria to prepare food. This is one of the ways they are reaching out to the students at the school and it will be continuing on until the end of the school year. "I love knowing that I can come just a few minutes earlier, hang out and eat some yummy pancakes with friends, and hear some guys singing and playing the guitar," says Allison Cool, junior. A member of the HOPE Team, Gaby Fernandez says by doing this "...we are being the hands of Christ." Such a small thing as serving breakfast has been a real eye-opener and has helped HOPE students realize the many needs of others the small community. There are so many ways we can all truly be the hands and feet of Christ.
