TOMAT — Annette “Annie” Clarine (Harrison), 82; born July 26, 1937, Richland, Oregon; died June 26, 2020, Medford, Oregon. Surviving: son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Lanee Kivett, Medford; daughters, Jewele Turner, Medford; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanine and Robert Aguilar, Medford; brother and sister-in-law, Earlynn and Rhonda Garrett, Ione, Washington; sisters, Arleen Thomason, Baker City; Rosalynn Gorham, LaGrande; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention.
Annette “Annie” Clarine (Harrison) Tomat, 82, passed away on June 26, 2020, at her home in Medford, Oregon. Annie was born in her grandparents (Carders) home in Richland, Oregon, to Charles E. “Joe” and Vada C. (Carder) Harrison. Her parents later divorced and Vada married Earl “Pete” Garrett when she was 8 years old. She spent her childhood years on the family farm in New Bridge, Oregon.
Annie met and fell in love with Richard H. Kivett and they were married on July 7, 1957. They were blessed with three children, Jewele, Jeanine and Jason Kivett.
Annie was a lifetime member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and attended school at Gem State Academy in Caldwell, Idaho, where she graduated in 1955. Annie had a deep abiding love for the Lord and used her God given musical talent as a pianist and vocalist all her life.
Annie loved to prepare a fabulous meal and hosted many quests at her home. She always made family celebrations extra special and loved those special gatherings the most. Her family and the Lord were the most important things in her life and she showered everyone with her love.
Annie loved camping, picnics, picking wildflowers, gardening, canning and sewing. She never missed sending cards and letters for holidays and birthdays. Those remembrances will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and step-father.
