Cyril D Blaine

BLAINE — Cyril D., 90; born May 4, 1928, Los Angeles, Calif.; died May 28, 2018, Loma Linda, Calif. Surviving: wife, Doris Cook, Loma Linda and Aloha, Ore.; son, Roy, Pendleton, Ore.; daughters, Carol Scott, Riverside, Calif.; Verna Blaine, Northport, Fla.; stepdaughter, Kathy Cook, Los Angeles; stepson, Lyndon Cook, Chehalis, Wash.; 4 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Dr. Blaine practiced medicine for over 50 years in the Adventist system. Mission assignments included Congo, Nyasaland, Tanzania and Kenya. State-side institutions included Paradise, Glendale Adventist, White Memorial and Loma Linda University Medical Center, plus the Jerry L. Pettis Veterans' Administration Hospital in Loma Linda and Mountains Community Hospital in Lake Arrowhead, Calif.
