Reed Andrew Qualley

QUALLEY — Reed Andrew, 72; born Jan. 4, 1945, McMinneville, Ore.; died Jan. 9, 2017, Vancouver, Wash. Surviving: wife, Linda (Blake); son, Geoff, Vancouver; daughter, Marci Henry, Bend, Ore.; sisters, Dianne McBurnett, Portland, Ore.; Carol Strandley, Tualatin, Ore.; and 4 grandchildren.

Reed was an Adventist pastor for 26 years. He began his ministry in the Alaska Mission in the late 1960s and continued pastoring for many years in the Oregon conference. After pastoring, he worked as a family counselor in SW Washington. Reed was also an integral part of Senior Survival. He led the Initiative Games at many of the Laurelwood, Milo, and Columbia academies senior survivals. He counted these experiences as some of his most treasured and fulfilling times.
