Surviving: wife, Marie (Hansen), Battle Ground, Wash.; sons and daughters-in-law, Wes and Donna Haynes, Battle Ground; Gary and Madelyn Haynes, Gresham, Ore.; daughter and son-in-law, Maretta and Wes Kandoll, Vancouver; brother, Robert Haynes, Sacramento, Calif.; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Donald was a World War II veteran. He planted two church congregations: Orchards Church in Vancouver, Wash., and Hockinson Church in Brush Prairie, Wash.
